Bio
My name is Marta Rabikowska, I am a lecturer at the University of East London. I teach advertising and consumption. I created this journal when I used to live in Plumstead (London Zone 4, South East London) to share my views on community life, space, ethnicity, and belonging. I have found home in Plumstead. Since then it has become a more general forum inviting many other topics related to community and urban regeneration. Everyone is welcome to post their comments. I would also be happy to hear from people who are interested in ethnography and visual research. If you want to place your own pictures from Plumstead (old or new) that would be great. I also share my own views on everyday life in this suburban area in London, as well as my poetical impressions.
